Repair Process
SPINDLE SERVICE - FOR BETTER QUALITY
Pre-inspection before disassembly
We conduct a thorough preliminary investigation that includes various mechanical tests such as spindle issues, appearance, operating hours, axial play, runout, and clamping power, as well as electrical tests. This allows us to more accurately predict the damaged areas.
Disassembly and analysis
Every step of the disassembly process are documented with photographs to analyze and accurately measure the current condition, identifying the damaged areas precisely. Based on this documentation and the identified damages, we provide an estimate.
We offer technical advice for spindle usage based on our findings, including suggestions for improvements to the clamping system, information on coolant usage, and antibacterial treatments, among other things.
Quote confirmation
We proceed with repairs upon approval of the estimate. Faster approval results in expedited repair.
Cleaning of components
All parts are meticulously cleaned with the finest cleaning solutions. Precision components such as shafts and bearing flanges undergo special treatments and solutions. If necessary, parts are cleaned using ultrasonic cleaners to ensure no defects remain.
Purchasing and maintenance
While the parts are being cleaned, the necessary components are ordered or prepared. Defective parts undergo repair. If required, the bearing seats or spindle tapers are reground with a special coating. For parts that are being ground, the process is carried out with precision comparable to that of a new spindle.
Precision Balancing
All spindles are balanced to ISO1940 standards by German-made balancing machines. This ensures that repaired spindles operate without vibration. All balancing results are printed and archived.
Assembly
The essence of spindle repair lies in the assembly phase. Assembly requires skilled hands for precise measurement and adjustment of each part. Our repair technicians work with high responsibility and concentration. Mechanical and electrical aspects are rechecked during assembly and final testing.
Fine Polishing and Adjustments
Even if each part is machined to high precision, fine grinding after assembly may be necessary. In such cases, machining is performed to achieve runout of less than 2μm. Fine grinding and adjustments eliminate residual vibrations from the tool, thereby extending the lifespan of spindles.
Final commissioning and quality check
Each spindle undergoes over 8 hours of test operation. Temperature, vibration, runout, etc., are measured and improved through our sensors. Each part of the spindle is inspected and a test report is prepared.
Issuing and delivering test scores
A test report identical to that of a new spindle is issued and included with delivery.
