SPINDLE SERVICE - FOR BETTER QUALITY
What is Spindle Hotel Service?
Spindles have a shortened lifespan even when not in use due to the settling and separation of the lubricating medium (copper, etc.). To prevent this, we store spindles at our headquarters and provide spindle test run services on a regular basis (once every three months).
The specific service includes the following:
- After a certain number of test runs (full speed), there is the measurement of overall mechanical elements.
(Spindle itself performance check, tool adapter area check, tool change system, drawbar check, cooling channel sealing and sealing air function check, runout check, sensor check, coolant flow check, etc.) *All measurements are documented in a new test report.
- The spindle will be available to you within 48 hours. You can take it yourself, or if you prefer, we will ship it to you.
- The date for the warranty (total of 6 months) starts with delivery.
A reminder in the case of copper-lubricated spindles: if the spindle has not been used for 24 months in storage, we recommend that you replace the grease.
The warranty provided at our headquarters (specified in the quote) applies equally to the ‘Spindle Hotel Service’.
The spindles that we keep at our headquarters are the property of the customer, and they remain in our records.
Unless the spindle has been repaired at the headquarters, the service can only be provided after the spindle has been checked at the headquarters.
